***Backstory
Jagram Pendharma was born to a strict, severe mother and an entirely absent father with little to no fanfare. As a child he was always entirely obedient, never making much of a fuss, if a little strange in his habits. When it came time to have his first chip implanted, the procedure went without a fuss. It was well clear even then, however, that Jagram would never be a man of much consequence.

Such truths crystallized when at the age of 12 he became an older brother. Ranjeeta was everything a parent could want in a child, plump and dark with thoughtful blue eyes. As she grew, she proved to be both clever and kind. Jagram's graduation from primary schooling was so overlooked by her first modification that he managed to slip into the librarian training program with no notice at all.

Graduating in average time, Jagram found himself as the Assistant Under-Librarian for the Anthropology Department. A prestigious-sounding job, to be sure, but in truth it largely consisted of paperwork and making sure the books were all in order. Nothing much by way of mental strain, Jagram suddenly found himself with ample time on his hands. With no studying to do and no hope of any real advancement due to his modification limits, his life was now mostly devoid of any real responsibilities.


***Personality

Both painfully shy and lacking in any form of self-confidence, Jagram often fades from the mind like a particularly bland wallpaper. Not ugly enough to be offensive, not handsome enough to be wanted, Jagram is, in a word, unmemorable. Much in him is geared to an outward projection of complete and utter mediocrity. While one might find him both talkative and sweet if they grew close to him, few people actually are so it is by and large a hidden quality. He tries to be unimposing, lacking the sort of pride in himself that would allow him to believe his very existence isn't a bother to others. He is also secretly deeply romantic, and spends large amounts of his time reading love stories. It is rather easy to make him nervous, and he often lacks foresight.


***Description

"Pale and spidery" are the best words to describe him. Standing at about 6'3" tall and weighing less than 150 lbs, Jagram is often asked if he's feeling well. His hair is kept long and falls in dark-brown waves around his face, which is long and comes to something of a point. He has a long, straight nose that juts out and turns abruptly back in, set above a wide mouth. His eyes often make it seem like he sleeps quite poorly and are nearly black in color. Due to a poor mod that couldn't be correct, Jagram is myopic; he wears contacts to work and when he knows he will be in the company of other people as he fears mockery, but in private he usually wears a pair of thin-rimmed glasses, finding them more comfortable. His skin is pale, shining with a blueish metallic tracery of circuts.
